Membership Chairperson
Rita Di Marco - Sicomac School
At the beginning of each year, new hires are informed about
the WEA and its benefits. It is the job of the Membership Chair
to reach out them and to ensure that their membership forms
are processed properly and to dispense informational material
about NJEA. Wyckoff is an agency fee district which means that
if anyone does not join the WEA, they must still pay a agency
fee equaling 85% of the union dues.
The membership records are now electronically housed on the
NJEA web site and can be accessed by the membership person
to enact any changes. In addition, when the officers need to
have pertinent information about our staff, the Membership
Chair can easily retrieve the data. If special mailings are
sent, appropriate labels can be created from the data on the
web site.
Chairperson for the Wyckoff Education
Foundation
Nellann Berg - Coolidge School
The duties of the WEF representative are to be a liaison to
WEA, attend monthly meetings, the Fun Run and attend the WEF
spring dinner.
PRIDE
Jessica Ehrlich and Kristen McErlean
- Coolidge School
The PRIDE committee is devoted to increasing communication
and interaction between the WEA, the community, the Wyckoff
Board of Education and the parents. PRIDE promotes the collaboration
and support of community and district-wide events. We heighten
the awareness of excellence in the Wyckoff Public Schools while
fostering a closer relationship with our parents throughout
the year. This is all done through a grant awarded to us by
NJEA.
