2013 Wyckoff Education Association Scholarship
Due Monday, April 3, 2013
The Wyckoff Education Association is sponsoring two, $1500 scholarships, to be awarded to graduating high school seniors. One will be awarded to a senior who attended the Wyckoff Public Schools and currently resides in Wyckoff. The second will be awarded to the child of a current member of the Wyckoff Education Association. The applicant must be accepted to and planning to attend a technical school or institution of higher learning.
To be considered for the scholarship you must complete the application in its entirety and submit it with 2 reference letters, a copy of your high school transcript, and essay. Please do not attach a “resume”; the application must be completed in full.
The completed application with all supporting documentation is due at Eisenhower School, 344 Calvin Court, Wyckoff, no later than 3:00 PM on Monday, April 3, 2013. Please indicate C/O WEA Scholarship Committee on the envelope. Late applications will not be considered.
You will be notified in May if you are a finalist. At that time an interview will be scheduled. For planning purposes, tentative interview dates are: May 15th and May 16th Interviews will be scheduled beginning at 4:00, and will last for 30 minutes. The committee realizes that high school students have busy schedules and the committee will attempt to arrange interview times to accommodate the finalists. Keep in mind however, that the committee members’ schedules must also be considered. If you are not able to commit to an interview or if you do not attend your scheduled interview, your application will not move forward in the selection process.

New Licensing Codes effective January 5, 2009
Arrest Reporting Requirements for Certificated Staff: N.J.A.C. 6A:9-17.1(c), a new subsection, requires that certificate holders report to their superintendent within 14 days if they are arrested or indicted for any crime or offense by any jurisdiction, and to report within seven days the final disposition of such charges.
